Holiday Parks, Caravan Parks, and Campsites in Isle of Wight

Spending time at one of the many Isle of Wight Holiday Parks is the perfect way to enjoy the 60 miles of unspoilt coastline. Situated just off the south coast of England – the Isle of Wight is just over 2 hours from London via ferry or hovercraft.

IOW family holiday park fun

A firm favourite with families, the island is famous for its sailing and water sports. Try your hand at windsurfing, kitesurfing, stand-up-paddle boarding or take a day out sea angling.

Wherever you stay on the island you will never be far from a stunning beach or a family attraction. And the kids will love hunting for fossils or visiting Blackgang Chine Fantasy Park and the breathtaking chairlift rides at Needles Park offer plenty of family fun.

The Needles

The Needles Rocks and lighthouse are possibly the most recognisable landmarks on the island. The three white chalk stacks leading up to the Needles Lighthouse are the first thing that many people think of when they hear to words ‘Isle of Wight’.

The famous landmark has its own attraction including a spectacular chairlift ride, taking you on a journey past the coloured sands cliffs of Alum Bay to the beach. You can soak up the breathtaking views from the beach and enjoy a paddle in the sea. If you fancy getting closer to the Needles why not take a pleasure cruise or rib ride.

And for the kids or just those who are kids at heart, you will love the Wildheart Animal Sanctuary (originally called the IOW Zoo), Blackgang Chine, Owl and Monkey Haven, Dinosaur Isle, Shanklin Seafront, Sandown Pier and the famous Needles landmark attraction to name just a few.

Isle of Wight perfect for beaches and watersports

A visit to the Isle of Wight wouldn’t be complete without visiting some of the famous beaches. The Island currently has the highest number of award-winning beaches in England, all managed to the highest standards.

One of the best ways to see the beautiful coastline of the Isle of Wight is to take one of the many sailing and boat charters available throughout the year. These range from leisurely sight-seeing tours to sailing tuition and more “hands on” sailing experiences. For Fishing enthusiasts there are also charter boats available.
