Bookings boom at all-action Shrewsbury holiday park
Bookings are streaming in at a Shrewsbury holiday park which offers a raft of activities to help families get back on their feet after lockdown.
Love2Stay park says its long list of challenges seems to be just what guests are thirsting for after months of being stuck indoors.
Green light for staycation holidays
The 22-acre rural site in the hamlet of Emstrey celebrated its re-opening on July 04, and park manager Chris Skitt says everyone is delighted:
“As soon as parks got the green light to open a few weeks ago, booking started going through the roof from people wanting to enjoy an escape to the countryside.
“We provide luxury glamping accommodation such as safari tents, and fully serviced pitches for touring caravans and motorhomes, all in a beautiful and tranquil rural setting.
“But I think what gives us the edge is the chance for adults and youngsters to release all that pent-up energy across a wide range of different activities.
“We’ve everything from a fantastic swimming lake and army-style assault course to coarse fishing, paddle boarding, cycling trails, and even a barefoot sensory walk.

“Fresh air, lovely surroundings, and the mental and physical benefits of getting back to nature – it’s just the tonic we’ve all been craving!” added Chris.
He said that behind-the-scenes preparations for re-opening have been going on for weeks, and are designed to ensure maximum peace of mind for guests.
Chris points out that Love2Stay holiday park is ideal for social distancing as all glamping units and touring pitches are at least five metres apart.
Other measures to ensure safety are also in place, including contactless check-ins, plenty of hand sanitising stations, and the deep cleaning of accommodation between visits.
Located not far from the Welsh borders, there are many nearby footpaths and trails to explore, and the medieval market town of Shrewsbury is just a short distance away.
