Holiday Parks on the Moray Firth are Star Performers

Starry nights at Holiday Parks on the Moray Firth

Holiday happiness is in the stars at these Scottish parks. Three top-rated holiday parks on the Moray Firth have been named by Park Holidays UK as star performers for families looking to own a holiday caravan or lodge in Scotland.

Stunning views of the Northern Lights

Among the reasons for their popularity, says the group, is their location under some of Scotland’s darkest night skies offering stunning views of the Northern Lights and a galaxy of stars.

Strong interest in holiday home ownership at the parks is coming from buyers on both sides of the Scottish border says Brad May, Chief Marketing Officer at Park Holidays UK.

As well as the dazzling beauty of the night sky, says Brad, the parks also boast a location warmed by the Gulf Stream, earning the region’s nickname as the “Riviera of the north”.

The three parks, all with far-reaching ocean views and sited near the historic city of Elgin, are Silver Sands Holiday Park, Lossiemouth Holiday Park, and Burghead Holiday Park.

Now the parks are inviting would-be owners to discover more about the ownership opportunities on offer by visiting a selection of both new and pre-owned models on their grounds.

Holiday Parks on the Moray Firth –  Riviera of the north

Available from under £20,000, owners can enjoy holidays throughout the four seasons and witness the changing colours of the countryside in one of Scotland’s most beautiful regions.

Families will also be just a short stroll from miles of glorious sandy beaches offering opportunities for watersports, spotting sea-life such as bottlenose dolphins, or simply soaking up the sun.

According to Brad, Park Holidays UK has in recent years invested literally millions of pounds in new and upgraded customer facilities.

Among the attractions on offer are an indoor swimming pool, fitness suite, restaurant and bar, clubhouse, plus adventure playground and other activities for youngsters of all ages.

But, says Brad, it is the natural appeal of the parks which is providing just as big a draw for people keen to own a bolt-hole to which they can make regular escapes throughout the year.

Amazing Scottish Scenery and Wildlife

“Part of the appeal of ownership is being able to reconnect with nature whenever you choose, and the Moray coast area is especially rich in amazing scenery and abundant wildlife.

“There is also very little light pollution here at night, so there’s always a chance of being able to glimpse the extraordinary phenomenon of the Northern Lights when the conditions are right.

“And every clear night you can look up and enjoy the ravishing spectacles such as the Milky Way, steaks of meteors, neighbouring planets, and the glow of other galaxies,” said Brad.

Buying a holiday home now, he added, means owners can immediately start enjoying holiday breaks throughout the summer – and perhaps sharing the experience with friends or family.

Special offers on selected models are available, and at Silver Sands and Lossiemouth parks there is a chance to create a second income through the group’s managed letting scheme.
