A new partnership launches holidaymaker flood technology innovation and puts holiday parks on red alert when floods threaten. As part of its commitment to delivering a complete flood resilience solution to its customers in the UK holiday park sector, Yorkshire-based Flood Technology Group has announced a collaboration with Holidaymaker, the leading provider of innovative tech solutions for the hospitality sector.
By working together, the two organisations will integrate Flood Technology Group’s Flood Early Warning System technology with the Holidaymaker App platform to provide real-time flood alerts and updates that will protect people and property in flood events.

Simon Gilliland, Chief Executive of Flood Technology Group, said: “Having created the world’s first flood adaptive holiday lodges at a site in Warwickshire last year, we’ve had a huge amount of interest in our Flood Early Warning System and Flood Adaptive Platform technology from the holiday park sector.
“We are now in the process of rolling our products out to this market, with a string of projects at sites across the UK planned for the coming months.

“When we met the team at Holidaymaker, there was a clear synergy between us. Our goal is to be able to deliver a complete solution to flood-prone holiday parks, using our Flood Early Warning System to alert people to a pending flood event and our Flood Adaptive Platform to elevate caravans, lodges and mobile homes above the rising water.
“Having the endorsement of Compass, a leading specialist insurer for the holiday park sector, was another important step towards offering a complete flood resilience solution for park owners, and now this exciting collaboration with Holidaymaker means that we’ll also be able to deliver flood warnings, alerts and other safety messaging directly through their unique platform, helping to ensure that people receive information in a timely and easily-accessible way in order to keep them safe.”
