Hot tubs put heat on bookings at New Forest holiday park

New luxury safari tents with wood-fired hot tubs are booking up fast for this year says Green Hill Farm

Bookings are bubbling over at a New Forest holiday park where safari tents with private wood-fired hot tubs are among a long list of new features for this year.

The team at Green Hill Farm Holiday Park in Landford say they are crossing their fingers that its re-opening in April will be able to go-ahead in line with government easing restrictions.

If so, says head of holiday sales Nicola Oyston, the stage will be set for “a staycation year like no other” at Green Hill Farm’s 70 acres in the New Forest National Park.

“Over the past few months we have been positing updates on all the new developments in progress at the park, and the response has been fantastic!” she said.

Holiday escapes to the New Forest

“I think it’s because we’re offering just the sort of escapes people are craving right now – especially the tonic of fresh air, pampering, and the sense of freedom.

“Our team has been working very hard on the new improvements, and we can’t wait for Green Hill Farm to be buzzing once again with happy holiday guests and private lodge owners!” added Nicola.

In addition to the 5 fully-equipped safari tents with their own wood-fired hot tubs, the park has 15 additional luxury holiday homes to rent with decking, and 5 family camping pods and 3 adult pods for the romantic glampers.

There are also new top-specification lodges to own with views across Green Hill Farm’s three lakes, and 30 extra pitches able to accommodate larger touring caravans, motorhomes and tents.

Glamping delights

New facilities waiting to make their 2021 debut include a pizza cafe-bar, and a safari tent bar which allows more guests to enjoy their drinks in a fresh-air environment.

But according to Nicola, one of park’s main attractions will still be the many opportunities it offers to enjoy the natural beauty of the surrounding countryside:

“We’ve a fantastic new nature trail with viewing stations so that  families can spot some of our abundant wildlife which includes deer, badgers, and a host of different bird species.

“We also have a host of ranger-led forest activities for all ages, and a beautiful nature trail that teaches young and old about animal habitats in and around the New Forest.

“There’s also a wildlife centre where guests can learn more about the natural world, plus paths to explore throughout the grounds – and, of course, the lovely New Forest itself.

“Our guests have always been very much into active leisure, so we’ve also plenty of other ways to help them let off steam at Green Hill Farm.

Best of British Holiday Parks

“There’s an outdoor gymnasium, trampolines, mountain bike hire, fishing in our lakes, and have-a-go challenges such as archery tuition, laser clay shooting, and Segway riding.

“All we need is for parks to be allowed to welcome guests by our opening date of 02 April, and we’ll be raring to go!” said Nicola who supports the park with her partner Ross Birkett.

The park is currently renewing its Good to Go accreditation which gives assurance of the best safety measures in place for their guests and team.

Green Hill Farm is a member of Lovat Parks, a small group of tranquil holiday parks, and is a member of the Best of British and Premier Parks consortia of quality-assured parks.
