Park Holidays UK eases ownership costs as comeback nears
Park Holidays UK is making holiday home ownership even more affordable as families prepare to be reunited with their much-missed holiday lodges and caravans.
With owners likely to be in the first wave of people allowed to return to parks, the group says there are signs of mounting interest in buying a holiday home.
So to help families get their feet on the ownership ladder, Park Holidays UK is cutting by up to 20% the pre-lockdown cost of hundreds of new and pre-owned models.
Holiday home ownership lockdown discounts
The discounts are also coupled with the promise of no pitch fees for the remainder of this season and the whole of next, totalling many months of fee-free holidays.
With government approval, Park Holidays UK has now re-opened its holiday home showgrounds on all its 31 coastal holiday parks in southern England.
It means would-be buyers can now, by appointment only, come and inspect the models being offered at discount prices on the park of their choice.
But, says the company, “safety first” is the watchword, and a series of measures are in place to ensure that customers can enjoy their visits with complete peace of mind.
Social distancing viewings
Social distancing will be observed, temperatures checked, holiday home doors will be open, sanitising facilities provided, and gloves and masks offered to families.
But if armchair viewing is preferred, the company is still offering its extremely popular virtual tours online with cameras zooming in on the park and its facilities, plus holiday home interiors.
Park Holidays UK says many people now recognise that the best way to enjoy staying in the UK is by owning a holiday home where you can take breaks throughout the four seasons.
In addition, it points out, parks are perhaps the safest of all holiday destinations with completely self-contained accommodation set at least five metres apart.
On top of its discounts and free pitch fee offers, Park Holidays UK is also offering low interest finance of 7.9% APR for buyers preferring not to use their own funds.
