Harford Bridge Holiday Park lies within Dartmoor National Park with views of Cox Tor, yet is just 2 miles from the bustling historic market town of Tavistock – Sir Francis Drake’s birthplace. There is a pannier market and many independent shops selling a wide range of local produce, essentials, clothes, gifts and antiques.
The River Tavy forms a park boundary and offers riverside and other level spacious camping pitches. All hot water and showers are included in our tariff. We offer self-catering caravan holiday homes, studio lodges and a Shepherd's Hut. Caravans and lodges are centrally heated and double glazed for all year holidays. Heat, light and all bedding included in holiday caravans.
The park is a haven for wildlife, and our resident ducks roam free. It is filled with hedgerows, small copses, ferns and wild flowers which gained us the prestigious David Bellamy Gold Conservation Award which we have held for the past 22 years. There is plenty of open space and it is an ideal location for pony trekking, golf, walking, cycling, bird watching and visiting Devon and Cornwall’s beaches and tourist attractions or just relaxing in the tranquil surroundings.
On the park we have a tennis court, table tennis, children’s play area and separate dog exercise field; laundry facilities and Information Room with book exchange and freeview television. WiFi available across the park.
