Pettycur Bay – Life on the Bay

Pettycur Holiday Park - Life on the Bay

Summer celebrations for television family’s Fife holiday park. Forty years of providing first-class holiday experiences in Scotland were celebrated in July by members of the Wallace family, owners of Pettycur Bay Holiday Park in Kinghorn, Fife. Also known for their starring role as Pettycur Bay Life on the Bay.

Thomas and Magdalene Wallace with their sons Alan and Tommy together acquired the 47-acre site – with its sweeping views across the Firth of Forth – in 1984.

Since then, the family has invested much time and energy into creating a highly acclaimed park destination providing a host of top-quality visitor attractions.

Their reward has been to see year-on-year increases in visitor numbers to the park’s 600 privately owned and rented holiday caravans, plus many regional and national tourism awards.

The park also includes the four-star Bay Hotel, and all guests have use of facilities such as a modern leisure centre with pool and sauna, restaurant, and extensive children’s activities.

Pettycur Bay has also become very well known to viewers of BBC Scotland which for three years has made the park the star of its observational documentary “Life on the Bay”.

The popular series captures the spirit of happy holiday life at the resort from the perspectives of everyone involved, including the Wallace family and their staff and guests.

The park’s anniversary year will see further new facilities and attractions introduced, including the development of eleven luxury holiday apartments in its grounds. Visit – https://www.pettycur.co.uk/
