Snap! Paignton park’s Pokémon safaris wow guests
Pokémon hunters are going snap-happy at a Paignton holiday park which is laying on expert-led safaris for the popular pocket monsters.
Guests at Beverley Holidays are now able to join members of the park’s entertainment team in specially arranged hunts for the virtual creatures.
The quests takes place both on the park, and around the surrounding areas where a number of the much-prized rarer Pokémon are known to live.
Beverley Holidays’ crazy golf course has already proved a happy hunting ground where smartphone owners can add to their collection.
Nearby Goodrington Sands and other local destinations popular with visitors are also hotspots where guests will be taken by the team.
Holidaymakers are invited to tag #BeverleyHolidays in snaps of their rare virtual reality finds on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for a chance to win a Beverley Goody Bag.
Beverley Holidays’ head Of entertainment, Drew Baker, said: “Pokémon Go fever has well and truly gripped the world, and South Devon offers some very rich pickings.
“We are thrilled to be taking our visitors on a hunt for these virtual creatures while also showing them some of the gems of this glorious region.
“We’re always striving to give our guests the best holiday experience possible, and now they can combine virtual reality with a picturesque touch of real life!” added Drew.
Set in the heart of the English Riviera, Beverley Holidays is a family-run holiday park offering high-quality accommodation including caravans, luxury hot tub lodges, camping and touring.
Its range of facilities offer something for all ages come rain or shine, from a chance to try water zorbing to a brand new giant inflatable assault course in the park’s outdoor lagoon pool.
